Village in the Shade (Japanese title Honogurashi no Niwa) mixes hand-painted farming simulation with optional folk-horror tension. Nippon Ichi Software developed the game; NIS America handles the Western release. Japan and Asia launch on July 30 2026, while the Western release is planned for Fall 2026 on Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam (plus Windows SKUs in Japanese materials).
